My final project is complete and the year is coming to an end, it has been a lot of fun and a great learning expierence! I am proud of my work and very happy with how my group collaborated and made it all come together!
Today we got lots of filming done! Yesterday was not as accomplished as we spent a lot of time trying to figure out the right place to film. But today we were able to all meet at one place at the same time ready to film. All of the actors quickly got dressed and I went to set up props again. Darrow's parents were not home this day so I had to set up the props by my lonesome without his Moms help. Luckily everything still looked perfect! Once everyone was dressed we had to continue with the scenes. I had the storyboard out and placed the actors where they needed to be. With the help of my friend Eva I would position the actors and she would look through the camera telling me left, right, forward, back, to get the perfect shot. We began filming where we left off, which was Giada aka Jade walking out the door after saying bye to her father. I had to go outside and film Jade walking through the door. I followed the storyboard very closely and made sure to capture the angles that I had...
The third day of filming was the last day for my group and I to complete the music video. The last few scenes needed to be shot at night so we devised a plan to meet at sundown. Allison came and picked me up, then we drove to Darrow’s. We had planned on filming at Allison’s house again, but it seemed easier to just stay at Darrow’s. Before filming we had to go to publix to buy a prop. We picked out some flowers that Darrow would be giving Allison in the video. We began filming the first scene which is a close up of a phone with the text saying that Darrow’s character had arrived to pick up Allison’s character. This scene was easy for Ella and I to film because all she had to do was hold the phone while I filmed the closeup. The next scene was slightly more difficult. It was going to be Darrow’s character arriving at the door with the prop flowers, the group had a small disagreement about what angle would be best for this shot. Fortunately we quickly decided to film two different shots ...
Our group has decided to do a action/romance genre. We have decided to combine both of these genres in order to get the best result. We chose action because it will be entertaining and will test out filming abilities. Action movies include many zooms, panning shots, and wide shots. We will have the chance to use these different types of shots to increase the action and suspense in our movie. This will be a new way of filming and it will be be difficult to hold the camera right and have good timing, but it will be a great achievement in the end.We have also included romance in our movie because we believe it will add to the storyline. We cannot fully cover action, with explosions, fire and gunshots, so it will be vital that we have some excitement from the romance. The romance drama will include many close up shots, these will be easy to film and will allow us to capture the actors emotions. Action is supposed to be exciting, and my group will be able to do this. We will film our c...
