AICE Media Studies Group

For the first project in this class, I have chosen a few good friends of mine to be my partners. My partners name's are Allison, Ella and Darrow. I chose this group for a few reasons. First off, they are reliable friends. Whether it is a ride to school or helping when I'm in trouble they have always been there for me. I find that the quality of dependency is important when it comes to group projects. If you don't have people in your group that you can depend on how are you supposed to assign roles. I also find it important to know some background on the people you plan on working with, that way you know their strengths and weaknesses. Luckily I have known the members in my group for quite a while. We all went to elementary and middle school together. And now we are all in the same high school class! I believe that my group will be able to cooperate and work together and if not, we are all mature enough to come to a mutual agreement that is beneficial to all. All of my partners have different skills that will work together well to create an amazing music video. Darrow and Allison are very outgoing and will be good at the acting roles. Ella and I are more reserved and like to be behind the camera. We will put forth our best efforts towards the filming and editing aspects. While we do have our strengths it is important that we step out of comfort zones and switch roles sometimes aswell! I believe that my group together can create great presentations by combining our strengths. Allison and I plan on dividing the task we need to accomplish according to what we do best rather than 50-50. While it may seem odd for one person to do more work than another, the truth of the matter is that the difficulty of the work can be different depending on you or your partner's strengths. My hope is for us to work harmoniously and to better each other’s ideas so that we can be the best we can be.I am very excited to create a music video that I will be proud of!
